Lake Winnsboro was the fourth stop of the DBH tournament season. With 29 club members anxiously awaiting take-off, along with competing on a much smaller lake than usual, the pressure was running high! The anglers knew they had to slow down and thoroughly fish their confident area to get bites.
Diamond Rogers and Larry Hillin found their fish early, sacking up a solid five bass limit of 20.87 lbs., including a 7.62 lb. toad caught by Diamond Rogers, which earned him Big Bass honors and the team a first place finish.
Taking second place was the team of Allen Hutchinson and Brian McGuffin, with a respectable five bass limit weighing 17.21lbs.
Third place went to Robert Richardson and Jared Davis, who grinded out a limit of bass for 16.42 lbs.
This was an excellent tournament with over 100 fish caught. Hats off to all tournament participants for their courtesy and patience at the boat ramp.
